"Mother," a critically acclaimed Korean thriller, has prevailed in the fourth Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong, winning three prizes, event organizers said Tuesday, according to Yonhap News.
The movie by director Bong Joon-ho, whose works are touted in Korea as both commercial and artistic successes, won best film Monday night, with its leading lady Kim Hye-ja given best actress, according to the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS).
