Yoo-ra Lee Recital will be presented on July 11, Sunday at the Spring Hall by Atlanta Conservatory of Music.
Coloratura Soprano Yoo-ra Lee-Hoff (Yoo-Ra Lee) was born in Seoul. South Korea and lives in Dresden, Germany. She studied violin in
Seoul, South Korea. In Berlin and Leipzig, Germany while she was active as a violinist. Her beautiful voice was discoverer and she was invited to study vocal arts/opera at the university of music and theatre in Leipzig, Germany. She graduated in 2006 with diploma and concert diploma. She actively participated at master classes with Julia Hamari and Siegfried Jerusalem. She is currently coached by Irngard Boas.
Her first engagements Lead her to the leipzig opera house, Germany (2002and2003) and the Saxony's traveling repertory theatre Dresden Radebeul, Germany(2004-2005) while she was still studying. Since 2005 She was singing at the Dresden State Operetta. During guest engagements she performed at the stages of the theatre Bautzen. the state operae Schwerin. the theatre Dessau. the opera House Chemnitz. the theatre Gera and others.
She performed at the international music festival Palma de Mallorca, Spain, the Luisenburg Festival Wunsiedel, Germany and the opera festival Salvador de Bahi, Brazil
During the "Vienna Johanna Strauss concert gala" tour she was singing at several major concert halls in Germany and Switzerland. among others at tonhalle Zurich. the Residenz Munich and the Berlin Philharmonic. Her concert work took her to concert halls in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Ukraina, and Estonia.
Her next opera engagements are as Fiamerra in "Boccaccio" and as Queen of the Night in "The Magic Flute" at the Dresden State Operretta, Germany. Next concert will be at the Frauenkirche Dresden, Germany whit Bach cantata.

공연은 올해 진행된 컨서트 중에서 하이라이트였다.
섬세하고 깨끗하고 설득력 있는 음성과 따뜻하고 부드러운 프레이징, 그리고 강한 표현력, 무엇보다도 탁월한 연기력과 카리스마로 관중을 압도했다.
소프라노 이유라는 독일 라이프치히 국립음대에서 성악과 석사과정과 박사과정을 최우수 학생으로 졸업했다.
독일 예나 필하모닉 오케스트라와 협연, 라이프찌히 국립음대 주최 모차르트 오페라 “"LA CLEMENZA DI TITO"에서 "SERVILLA"역, 홈페르딩크의 오페라 헨젤과 그레텔에서 그레텔 역, 오페라하우스 라이프찌히에서 오페라 마술피리,마탄의 사수 등에 출연함과 더불어 브라질 오페라 페스티벌에서 모차르트의 오페라 마술피리에서 밤의 여왕으로 출연해 그의 기량을 널리 알렸으며 003년 독일 드레스덴 LANDESBUHNEN SACHSEN 극장에 출연한 이후 2004년 바로 전속계약을 맺어 "쟌니스키키"에서 라우레타 역 "DIE CSARDASFUERSTIN" 에서 스타지 역."집시남작"에서 아르제나 역. "호프만의 이야기"에서 올림피아 역을 맡아 열연해 호평을 받았다.
또, 오페라하우스 켐니쯔, 오페라하우스 베르린, 북동유럽 에스토니아에서 독창회, 독일 ALTENBURG-GERA 극장, GOERLITZ, BAUIZEN 극장, DRESDEN STAATSOPERETTE 극장, 독일 괴를리쯔 극장 등에서 “나라의 미소”의 미, “집시 남작”의 아르제나, “보카쵸”의 피아메타, “마술피리의 밤의 여왕을 노래했다. 한편, 비엔나 요한 스트라우스 갈라 콘서트에 솔리스트로 두 차례 출연해 독일, 스위스, 우크라이나 등 순회 공연을 가졌으며 헝가리 부다페스트 초청 독창회를 열어 현재 까지 국제무대에서 왕성한 활동을 펼치며 한국이 낳은 세계적인 콜로라투라로서 그의 기량을 유감없이 발휘하고 있다. 다음 컨서트는 독일 Dresden State Operretta에서 마술피리 중 밤의 여왕, 보카치오의 피아메라, 역시 독일 Frauenkirche Dresden에서 바흐 칸타타 스케줄이 잡혀있다.
현재 이유라는 독일 드리스덴 오페라 하우스 전속계약을 맞고 있으며 유럽에 새로 떠오르는 별입니다.
