지휘인생 51년, 대한민국 합창계의 대부 ‘윤 학 원’ LA 에 그가 온다!
Hak Won Yoon has been a conductor 51 years of his life and comes to LA who is known as a Godfather of Choral Music in Korea.
LAKMA(Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians’ Association)는 캘리포니아에서 활동하는 음악인들과 이들을 후원하고자 하는 음악 애호가들이 2012년 1월에 모여서 만든 음악 단체로 음악이라는 도구를 통하여 나눔과 후원이 필요한 기관을 돕는데 힘쓰는 비영리 단체 입니다.
또한 LKMA는 ‘We help people through music’ 이라는 슬로건으로 단순한 체리티 음악회라는 차원을 넘어 전문적인 음악을, 뛰어난 연주로 그 동안 여러 의미있는 음악회를 성공리에 개최하여 이 곳 한인사회 뿐만 아니라 타 커뮤니티에도 큰 영향을 주고 있습니다.
이렇게 축적된 신뢰로 올 해 대한민국 광복절 기념일을 맞아 ‘한국의 얼(The Spirit of Korea)’ 이라는 주제로 음악회를 개최하려고 합니다. 미주사회에 한국인의 정체성을 코리안 어메리칸들에게, 또 이 사회의 여러 소수 민족들에게 우리의 우수한 음악 문화를 고취시키고 알리고자 합니다.
이번 음학회는, 한국 합창음악계의 대부이며 세계합창연합회(IFCM) 이사와 월드콰이어게임 심사위원을 맡고있는 세계 코랄계의 거장 윤학원 교수님이 이끄는 ‘윤학원 코랄’과, 미주 한인 사회의 음악 리더 윤임상 지휘자가 이끄는 다민족 구성의 LAKMA 쳄버 콰이어가 합창음악을 통해 “한국의 얼”을 표현합니다.
본 음악회를 위해 한국에서 윤학원 지휘자와 50여명의 연주자가 이곳 LA에 오며, 이곳 LAKMA 연주자들을 포함 총110명의 연주가가 함께하는 이번 음악회는 최대의 다민족 월드 합창음학회가 될 것입니다. 연주될 곡들은 한국음악의 감정 표현에 있어 깊은 한이 서려있고, 동시에 대조적으로 매우 리드미컬 한 합창음악으로 경쾌함의 극치를 선사 할 것입니다. 또한, 사물놀이와 브라스 앙상블, 대금이 어울어지는 ‘아리랑 환타지’는 ‘한국의 얼’을 감동 그대로 전하는 최고의 창작곡으로 우리의 뿌리의 깊은정서를 찾아 볼 수있는 잊지못할 순간이 될 것입니다. 한국 전통민요와 가곡들을 합창의 멋진 연주로, 최고의 조화속에 펼쳐질 우리 ‘한국의 얼’을 깊이 한번 만끽해 보십시요.
미주 한인이민 역사상 가장 버라이티하게, 그리고 뜻 깊은 의미로 열리는 본 합창공연을 성공적으로 개최하기위해 여러분들의 아낌없는 관심과 사랑을 부탁드립니다.
The Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians’ Association (LAKMA) is a nonprofit organization who has established since 2012. We strive to support other organizations financially through our various musical events and concerts. We also have a tradition of sharing messages of hope and love by putting on musical events for needy communities.
The LAKMA’s mission statement is, “We help people through music!” Not just a benefit concert, we influence Korean community and other communities as well by having professional music and excellent performances.
With this trust, we are trying to have a special concert with a theme “The Spirit of Korea” for celebrating Korean NationalLiberationDay. Through this concert, we would inspire Korean-Americans’ identity and show other ethnic communities of our great music culture.
This concert will represent “The Spirit of Korea.” It will be performing by Conductor Hak Won Yoon, a vice president of International Federation for Choral Music and a judge of World Choir Games, with members of Yoon Hak Won Choral and also Conductor Im Sang Yoon, a leader musician of Korean-American community, with LAKMA chamber choir.
For this concert, 50 members including the conductor Hak Won Yoon are coming from Korea, and a total of 110 people will be performing including LAKMA members. This concert will be the world’s largest multi-ethnic choral concert. The songs will be playing on the emotions of Korean Music. It is very deep and rhythmic choral music at the same time as in contrast to the extreme lightness and joy. In addition, Samulnori, Korean traditionalpercussionquartet, with brass band ensemble, and the “Arirang Fantasy” with Daegeum, a Korean traditional bamboo flute, will give the audiences an unforgettable moment. Korean traditional folk songs and choral music will be playing with the best harmony.
