Korean pianist Seong-Gin Cho has taken the world by storm since winning First Prize at the 2015 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. That triumph followed numerous competition successes, including the Third Prize at the 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow at the age of 16 and First Prize in the 2009 Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan (the youngest winner in the history of the competition). With his overwhelming talent and natural musicality, Seong-Gin Cho is rapidly embarking on a world-class career and is considered one of the most distinctive artists of his generation. His Ramsey Hall program includes Schubert’s Piano Sonata in C Minor, D. 958, and Chopin’s 24 Preludes, Op. 28.
